a voice-activated vr experience examining the intimacy of human conversation and the possibilities of conversational cinema

fall in love is an oculus rift enabled vr experience that explores whether it's possible to feel intimacy with an avatar or virtual character. based on work by psychologist arther aron (the 36 questions that lead to love), it also acts as a commentary on modern dating.

using voice recognition software, users are able to choose between the characters they want to fall in love with and ask them a series of questions, ranging from casual to extremely personal and intimate information.

this project was developed by moth + flame, and produced by tool of north america and oculus studio.
